LANCASTER, S.C. (WBTV) - Counties in South Carolina are continuing to grow and build more residential and commercial spaces. Despite that boom in developments, Lancaster County Council will review an ordinance that will pause new residential projects.

In less than a week, Lancaster County Council will vote on a nine-month residential development moratorium ordinance.

County Administrator Dennis Marstall said the council has been reviewing a draft of a new Unified Development Ordinance, or UDO, that could influence future home builds in the area.
