Zimmer Biomet announced Tuesday it has completed the acquisition of Monogram Technologies Inc., billed as an AI-driven, next-generation robotics company.
Zimmer Biomet, based in Warsaw, said the previously announced deal expands its portfolio and creates a path for it to become the first orthopedic company to offer a fully autonomous robotic solution.
When announced in July, the equity deal was valued at $177 million. Monogram Technologies is based in Austin, Texas.
