It was dismissal time at the D.C. Bilingual Public Charter School when what police call a routine traffic stop turned into a possible immigration arrest that has fueled tensions between the Metropolitan Police Department and community members.
Video of the incident, first reported by the Washington Post, shows several D.C. police officers on scene. The Post reports federal agents were there, too, including homeland security and FBI agents.
