Meals on Wheels of Greenville’s new facility off Augusta Road has entered the final stages of construction.
The two-story building under construction at 31 Chalmers Road aims to expand the nonprofit’s operations and delivery services to meet the needs of Greenville’s growing population. Meals on Wheels currently delivers approximately 1,500 meals to residents across Greenville County every day.
Construction of the new facility began in January 2025 and is expected to be complete by the end of the year. Catriona Carlisle, executive director of Meals on Wheels of Greenville, gave a tour of the facility’s construction progress on Oct. 7.
