The Chargers on Tuesday acquired outside linebacker Odafe Oweh and a 2027 seventh-round draft pick from the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for safety Alohi Gilman and a 2026 fifth-round selection, a move designed to provide depth while Khalil Mack is sidelined .

Oweh had a career-high 10 sacks during the 2024 season, his fourth with the Ravens after they drafted him in the first round from Penn State in 2021. However, he failed to record a sack in five games this season with the injury-riddled Ravens, who have started 1-4.

Oweh, 26, has only 10 tackles (five solo) so far in 2025.

Mack was placed on injured reserve after dislocating his left elbow during the Chargers’ victory over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2. He is eligible to return from IR for a game against the Indianapolis Colts
