Righetti FFA students showcased their leadership skills and program pathways at the 79th annual Los Alamos Old Days celebration.

Students in the animal science and veterinary science classes prepared and trained their livestock, including miniature horses, mini calves, mini goats, mini sheep, mini pigs, fluffy chickens, and a pair of goats, to walk in the Sept. 28 parade.

“Their dedication and hard work earned our chapter the 1st place Best Float honor. This achievement not only highlighted their commitment but also served as an excellent opportunity to show the community the hands-on experience and dedication in our program,” said Righetti ag teacher and FFA advisor Amy Guerra.
