HASKINS, Ohio — Residents of Haskins may soon be able to pick up their mail in town instead of driving to Bowling Green, the village announced on Tuesday.
There is no estimated date yet, the village said on social media, but a new P.O. Box will be installed at the village hall on Findlay Road after officials signed a lease agreement with the U.S. Postal Service to reinstate mail deliver for residents.
The closure of the Haskins Post Office in May 2023 presented a challenge for some village residents, especially the older population , as they had to drive to Bowling Green to pick up their mail.
