Sara Bareilles' husband, Joe Tippett, is a multi-hyphenate.

Not only does he play guitar, but he's also starred in many Broadway productions, including "Waitress," where he met Bareilles in 2015. Bareilles wrote the music and lyrics for "Waitress" as well.

The two started dating and then got engaged in 2023. Bareilles shared the happy news on Instagram when she shared a photo of her looking lovingly into Tippett's eyes.

"Yes to marrying this man. It’s an easy, earned, relaxed YES. @joetipps you are exactly who I want. The more I know you the more I know I love you … and you have introduced me to parts of myself I was afraid to love," she wrote on the platform. "And now I love ME more because of you. So really this is all about me. Just kidding. What a gift you are. Let the games begin
