DETROIT, Mich. (WLNS) - After a nearly three hour rain delay, the Detroit Tigers lost 8-4 to the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday night at Comerica Park to fall behind 2-1 in the best-of-five series.

The Mariners struck first in the top of the third inning. Following a double by Mariners right fielder Victor Robles, shortstop JP Crawford hit a single to left field and while Robles initially held at third base, the cutoff throw went through to home plate and bounced away from Tigers catcher Dillon Dingler, allowing Robles to score.

The very next batter, left fielder Randy Arozarena, made it a 2-0 game with an RBI single to center.

Seattle tacked on two more runs in the fourth when third baseman Eugenio Suarez hit a solo home run to lead off the inning and catcher Cal Raleigh added an RBI sing
