DETROIT, MI –– The Detroit Tigers are on the brink of elimination.

The Seattle Mariners picked up a road win at Comerica Park, 8-4, in Game 3 of the American League Division Series, on Tuesday, Oct. 7.

Slated to start at 4:08 p.m., pockets of steady rain pushed the game back hours.

First pitch took place at 7:0 p.m.

Jack Flaherty was the starting pitcher for the Tigers and Logan Gilbert for the Mariners.

The Tigers will host the Mariners on Wednesday, Oct. 8 in Game 4 of the ALDS.

The series continues with Game 4 on Wednesday at 3:08 p.m. The game will be moved to 7:08 p.m. if the Blue Jays finish off the New York Yankees on Tuesday night.

The Tigers have lost eight straight games at Comerica Park. Their last win was on Sept. 6.
