COVINGTON, Tenn. (WMC) - A Millington man is accused of crashing into a Covington home Sunday night, then taking off.
Police say this happened around 8 p.m. at a home in the Covington Housing Authority.
Officers reportedly found skidmarks down the street, leading up to the truck.
The sole resident wasn’t hurt, but they’re now living with family because of damage to the home.
Police say two men near the scene admitted to being inside the truck, and one of them, 23-year-old Tony Allen, admitted to being the driver.
Officers found that the truck’s brakes locked up, causing the crash. However, Allen’s license was reportedly suspended.
He now faces several charges, including leaving the scene and vandalism. He was released from jail on a $15,000 bond.
