DETROIT. (WILX) - The Detroit Tigers fell to the Seattle Mariners, 8-4, in Game 3 of the American League Division Series at Comerica Park.

Jack Flaherty (8-15, 4.64 ERA) was the starting pitcher for Detroit, while Seattle sent out Logan Gilbert (6-6, 3.44 ERA).

The game was originally scheduled to begin at 4:08, but after a lengthy rain delay, the first pitch was not until 7:01.

After two scoreless innings, Seattle’s Victor Robles led off the third with a double down the left field line. The next batter, J.P. Crawford, singled to left, and Robles came in to score on a throwing error from Riley Greene, allowing Crawford to take second base. Randy Arozarena then singled to score Crawford and make it 2-0 Mariners.
