REEDS SPRING, Mo. — A 19-year-old man has been identified and charged with the murder of a woman.

According to court documents, Gavin O. Justice, of Bella Vista, faces charges of first-degree murder and armed criminal action.

According to the Stone County Sheriff’s Office, on Oct. 6, at 12:27 p.m., law enforcement was dispatched to an apartment in downtown Reeds Spring for a man running around covered in blood. There, police found the body of a 19-year-old woman with stab wounds.

Justice was taken to the hospital with self-inflicted wounds and is expected to survive.
