AMHERST, Mass. (WWLP) - Tuesday, October 7th, marks two years since Hamas launched its attack on Israel.
The Jewish community in western Massachusetts gathered to commemorate the anniversary, with events held at Temple Beth El in Springfield and the Jewish Community of Amherst.
Rabbi Amy Walk of Temple Beth El stated, "In the Jewish world, we talk about before October 7th and after October 7th. First of all, there's been an unleashing of antisemitism throughout the world that feels unimaginable, but it's very imaginable."
