FAYETTE COUNTY, Ga. — Details continue to emerge from a shocking and unsettling case out of Texas, in which a mom is accused of shooting her four children, killing two of them. Those details now include a prior conviction in Georgia.

Oninda Romelus was arrested over the weekend after the domestic shooting in the Houston area. According to local authorities in Brazoria County, Texas, Romelus' 13-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter died, while her 8-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter survived.

11Alive's sister station in Houston, KHOU, has reported she told investigators that her children were "with the devil" and that she said, "Instead of them doing it to me, I'm gonna do it to them."

When asked what she meant by that, she reportedly replied, "kill them all."
