NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Nashville neighborhood has big plans to upgrade the area with two new beautification projects underway.

The 12 South neighborhood currently has a sign on 12th Avenue welcoming people to the neighborhood, but it’s been defaced, and neighbors want to see it replaced.

The neighborhood released a survey to residents after receiving a donation from one of the developers in 12 South for a beautification fund. The fund was in exchange for removing some trees in the community. One of their top responses from neighbors was a new sign. The neighborhood association board has been actively trying to get a new sign for over a year.
