LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Two men are accused of stealing wallets from women who were shopping in Louisville stores.

Police say they were caught committing the crime on surveillance camera three times in a two-week period in September 2025. LMPD says the two then used stolen credit cards to buy gift cards, racking up more than $5,000 in fraudulent charges.

LMPD arrested 52-year-old Nathaniel Porter III and 64-year-old Virgil Mozee, charging them with theft by unlawful taking, fraudulent use of credit cards, trafficking in financial information, and engaging in organized crime.

Police say Porter and Mozee are friends. They also confirm that Mozee is a pastor at New Christian Church of Jesus Christ.
