FRANKFORT, Ky. — Attorney General Russell Coleman, R-Kentucky, is suing the popular video game company Roblox . Coleman said the platform is dangerous for Kentucky children and the company needs to address these concerns.

“Roblox is the website of choice for child predators,” Coleman said during a news conference Tuesday morning.

His office has filed the 68-page suit in Madison County Circuit Court.

It argues Roblox has long ignored safety concerns on its platform, leaving the door open for the online exploitation of its users, who are largely children.

Among other changes, Coleman is asking the platform to implement age verification that prevents young children from signing up and bad actors from appearing younger than they are.
