Strictly Come Dancing professional Amy Dowden has been inundated with support from fans after she and her partner Thomas Skinner were eliminated from the BBC dance competition

Amy Dowden has thanked fans for "all the love and support" after returning home following her departure from Strictly Come Dancing . ‌

The Welsh professional dancer had been partnered with Thomas Skinner in the BBC ballroom competition, but the duo faced elimination over the weekend. ‌

The pair received their marching orders after finding themselves in the bottom two, with former Apprentice contestant Thomas becoming the first celebrity to leave this series . ‌

Following their exit, Amy posted a photograph on Instagram that showed her smiling whilst wrapped in a blanket on her sofa, reports Wales On
