A freeze watch was released by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 1:20 a.m. valid from Thursday 11 p.m. until Friday 9 a.m. for Northern Wayne as well as Bradford and Susquehanna counties.

The weather service adds to expect, "Temperatures will fall into the 20s and low 30s Thursday night into early Friday morning."

"Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered," comments the weather service. "Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold."
