Clear and calm conditions will lead to the first frosty night of the season. Temperatures will dip into the upper 30s for Pittsburgh, meanwhile surrounding areas will settle into the mid 30s. A Frosty Advisory is in effect between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. Thursday for Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Fayette, Forest, Garrett, Indiana, Lawrence, Preston, Westmoreland, and Venango counties.

Thursday night will be even chillier. A Freeze Watch has been issued for the same counties - north and east of Allegheny County - betwee
