SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
A REACH H-130 Airbus helicopter crash in Sacramento may have been caused by engine failure, according to an aviation expert.
Captain Augustine Joseph, an aviation expert with over 40 years of flying experience , shared his insights on the crash. He's the CEO and owner of three aviation companies, one of them, the Advanced International Aviation Academy.
After reviewing videos and flight path data, Joseph believes the crash was likely due to some kind of engine failure.
“You see the aircraft coming into a high rate of descent, which is indicative of a power or engine failure or some malfunction that either forces the pilot to bring the helicopter down or a loss of complete power,” he said.
