The "best seaside fish and chips" in Scotland have been named. More than 10 eateries across the country are shortlisted for a prestigious award. ‌

On October 2, the finalists for the Best Seaside Fish and Chips prize at the Scottish Fish and Chip Awards were announced. The Scottish Fish and Chip Awards is the largest trade event in Scotland’s fish and chips industry, and recognises restaurants and takeaways around the country across a range of categories. ‌

A total of 11 eateries across Scotland have been nominated for the Best Seaside Fish and Chips prize. Among these include The Anstruther Fish Bar, The Wee Chippy in Anstruther, and Carron Fish Bar in Stonehaven and more. ‌
