MLA Bhullar launches ₹139.79 Crore power infrastructure upgrade

Ferozepur, October 8, 2025: On Wednesday, MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar Ferozepur Urban, inaugurated power infrastructure projects worth ₹139.79 crore aimed at construction, expansion, and upgradation of the district’s electricity network, under the visionary leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and the guidance of Power Minister Sanjeev Arora,

The funds will be utilized for laying new lines, installing transformers, setting up new sub-stations, and strengthening the existing system to enhance capacity.

As part of the project, a new 66 kV underground (1.326 km) and overhead (2.128 km) line costing nearly ₹10 crore is being laid to provide an alternate supply to the 66 kV City Ferozepur sub-station. Once comple
