High temperatures return to the 70s today, and the next two afternoons could be our last ones in the 70s for a long time.
What We're Tracking
An impactful storm system will arrive this weekend, but out ahead of it southerly winds will keep temperatures mild and feeling a little like September instead of October. Highs will stay in the 70s on Wednesday and Thursday, while low temperatures rise each night to peak in the upper 40s on Friday morning.
Showers begin to arrive on Friday, most likely late in the day. Showery weather on Saturday will turn soggy Saturday night, with mountain snow possible above 4000 feet Sunday and early Monday. There are still plenty of details to work out for late in the weekend, but you can count on it being chilly and damp heading into next week.
