An ‘illegal’ encampment behind a popular West Lothian leisure centre has been given 24 hours to vacate the site. ‌

West Lothian Council took to social media to warn several vehicles had set up an ‘unlawful’ encampment behind the 5-aside pitches at Xcite Bathgate on Tuesday, October 7. ‌

The encampment has been served a 24 hour notice to quit and if they fail to move on during this period, officers will begin a legal process for eviction. ‌
