COLUMBUS, Ohio — After experiencing issues with drivers speeding and cutting through their neighborhood, those who live in the Westerville Woods area are getting some relief.
The City of Columbus is putting up a temporary barricade on Wingfield Street at Mautino Drive to prevent through traffic. Anyone who lives north of the barricade will need to take state Route 161 to Westerville Road and those who live south of the barricade must use Morse Road to Westerville Road.
All other drivers will need to use the posted detour. The city initially put up signs encouraging drivers to do this, but drivers have been ignoring them.
