BRADFORD COUNTY, Pa. — Homicide charges were filed against former Ohio State wide receiver Julian Fleming in relation to a fatal ATV crash in Pennsylvania in May.
Fleming was charged with homicide by vehicle, driving under the influence and aggravated assault by vehicle, according to Bradford County court documents. The charges stem from the crash in Bradford County on May 23.
Police say Fleming was driving an ATV northbound on Painter Lick Lane when it hit a deer that had jumped onto the road.
Fleming sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital. The passenger, 23-year-old Alyssa Boyd, was pronounced dead at the scene. 10TV's sister station WNEP reports that Boyd was Fleming’s girlfriend.
A police report stated that Boyd and Fleming were not wearing safety gear.
