A freeze watch has been issued for three New Jersey counties Thursday night into Friday as forecasters track the potential for a coastal storm this weekend that could bring flooding, high winds to Jersey Shore.
“Coastal interests should closely monitor the forecast regarding the coastal storm forecast to impact the region beginning Sunday into early next week,” the National Weather Service said early Wednesday. “Significant coastal flooding and high winds are possible during this time frame.”
A strong cold front is moving through New Jersey on Wednesday, bringing scattered showers and much cooler temperatures for the remainder of the week.
