PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A significant shift in the weather is on the way for Arizona over the next couple of days. Impacts include a big cool down and the potential for very heavy rain.

Today is expected to be our hottest day this week and potentially our last triple-digit day of 2025. Look for mostly sunny skies and a high of 100 degrees. While a few storms are possible in eastern Arizona, chances are slim for Valley rain today. A few outflows may bring gusty winds to the Valley this evening.

Tropical moisture is streaming into Arizona already, moving in ahead of Hurricane Priscilla, which is off the coast of Mexico.
