Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Jammu & Kashmir Branch Office (JKBO), organized a Sensitization cum Helmet Awareness Drive at Bahu Plaza, North Block, Jammu on 8th October 2025 as part of the celebrations for World Standards Day (WSD) 2025.

World Standards Day is observed globally on 14th October every year to recognize the collaborative efforts of experts worldwide who develop and implement voluntary standards for the benefit of society. In commemoration of this occasion, BIS JKBO organized a series of programs, including the Helmet Drive cum Awareness Program and Quality Walk/Run, to engage students from Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School, Kendriya Vidyalaya Rahya Suchani, and the Central University of Jammu.
