SWIMMING: GARBER GETS FIRST WIN

Essexville Garber doesn’t have the biggest team.

But the Dukes have enough swimmers to make some noise in the Independent Swim Conference. And it got a little loud in the Garber pool Tuesday as the Dukes celebrated a 90-63 victory over Alma for their first win of the season.

“It was a great meet and fun to see these girls win,” Garber coach Erin Dowd said.
