Cleanup work has started along a naturalized area off Berger Road in Sarnia.
The half-kilometre stretch of land with a walkway on the north side of Berger Road drew criticism about two years ago , along with a naturalized part of Mike Weir Park, for being unkempt.

Since, plans to spruce up both areas, still as naturalized areas with native plants, have been presented to city council.
Work on the Berger Road green space started Monday, said parkland planning superintendent Bryana McLaughlin.
