COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - A man is now facing charges in connection with a deadly shooting at a Columbia-area restaurant.

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department said 28-year-old Wilther Castillo-Antunez was arrested Tuesday and charged with murder as well as possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Castillo-Antunez’s counts are related to a shooting that happened Sunday night at Tacos Puerto Barrio on Decker Boulevard. Authorities said 43-year-old Juan L. Reyes-Padilla was found shot inside the restaurant and was later pronounced dead.

RCSD surveillance footage obtained by investigators and witness interviews led to identifying Castillo-Antunez as the suspect. He was arrested on Tuesday afternoon.

Records show Castillo-Antunez is being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
