On the early evening of Friday, Oct. 3 East Providence High School came alive with Townie pride.
The annual Townie Pride Parade brought students, parents, staff, and administrators from the entire city to one place to march together as one; with each school showing off some of their own unique flair through costumes, signs, and plenty of enthusiasm to go around.
The East Providence High School cheerleaders, marching band, and color guard provided fantastic pomp and circumstance to the event, which preceded the Division 2 first-place girls’ soccer team’s match against Scituate (they tied, 1-1).
