Early in the day Tuesday, Frieda Parton took to social media to ask her fans of the country music icon for prayers amid her health struggles.

"I want to clear something up," Freida Parton wrote on Facebook. "I didn't mean to scare anyone or make it sound so serious when asking for prayers for Dolly."

She clarified that her sister has "been a little under the weather, and I simply asked for prayers because I believe so strongly in the power of prayer.
