A motorcyclist died Tuesday evening in Fall River in a single-vehicle crash on Route 2.

Police were called at about 10 p.m. after the crash near exit 2, where police found the driver on the grass near a highway crash barrier, according to Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn’s Office.

The driver was identified as 51-year-old Scott Langlois of New Bedford.

He was brought to a local hospital and pronounced dead a short time later, officials said in a statement on Wednesday morning.

Police found the motorcycle in the median of the off-ramp.

The crash does not appear to be suspicious, officials said.
