Joe Marler is renowned for his rugby talents, but the Celebrity Traitors star has also earned recognition for championing mental health causes. ‌

The Harlequins legend - who is amongst 19 stars appearing on the BBC reality programme hosted by Claudia Winkleman - has previously opened up about experiencing some low points, and how he was diagnosed with depression. ‌

Speaking to The iPaper earlier this year, he revealed his mental health struggles in 2018, describing how he would break down in tears during his commute to work. ‌

He ultimately sought professional support and learned he was battling depression, reports the Daily Record .
