Heavy rainfall lashed Delhi-NCR on Tuesday, bringing a significant drop in temperatures. Though the showers have likely ended, a pleasant chill engulfed the city on Wednesday morning. The minimum temperatures are further expected to fall as we are already halfway through October.

The intense spell yesterday evening led to major traffic and flight disruptions. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had predicted a partly cloudy sky over the national capital on October 8. However, the weather is expected to clear up starting tomorrow. The Weather Body has predicted a clear blue sky until October 14, 2025.
