SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Good afternoon! The initial part of the cold front has moved through the ArkLaTex, and this will cause highs to drop a few degrees! The middle and upper 80s will be the highs around the ArkLaTex today.
We may still feel slightly humid through today, but most of it is being pushed out by the cold front moving through. Rain chances aren’t expected to rise today, or even the next 6 days afterwards, due to a high-pressure system expanding across the middle and eastern U.S.
Once the system of high pressure expands by tomorrow, cooler air will arrive and that will drop highs into the lower to middle 80s. Lows will drop into the 50s by Friday morning. This will make us feel a bit more like fall has arrived, but it is not expected to last long. Through Friday afternoon a
