Jay Norvell is the fourth-highest paid coach in the Mountain West in 2025.

USA TODAY's 2025 compensation survey was released Oct. 8 with salary information for college football coaches across FBS.

Norvell is in his fourth season as CSU's coach and ninth overall as a head coach.

Here is a look at total pay for coaches in both the Mountain West and those who will be part of the new-look Pac-12 set to begin play in 2026.

Total pay for Mountain West football coaches

Dan Mullen, UNLV: $3.5 million

Spencer Danielson, Boise State : $2 million ($2,000,503 to be exact)

Bronco Mendenhall, Utah State: $2 million

Jay Norvell, Colorado State : $1.9 million

Sean Lewis, San Diego State: $1.85 million ($1,853,100 to be exact)

Troy Calhoun, Air Force: $1.55 million

Ken Niumatalolo, San Jose
