CHESTER, S.C. — The Chester County Sheriff's Office said a threat was made against Great Falls High School on Wednesday. However, nothing of concern was found within the school.

According to an alert shared on social media, deputies were in the area to respond to the threat and were working with the Chester County School District to resolve the issue. The sheriff's office said all students and faculty in the school were transported away to a designated reunification site.

Deputies later confirmed that nothing of concern was found within the school. The sheriff's office noted that the district was actively providing information to parents regarding their students.
