CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A shooting in northwest Charlotte left one person hurt on Wednesday.

The shooting happened on Winding Branch Court near Braden Drive. One person suffered life-threatening injuries in the shooting, according to Medic.

It's unclear what led to the shooting. Officials did not say if any suspects were arrested.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has not released any information on the shooting.
