A Sterling Heights man is facing criminal charges in Oakland County for alleged human trafficking.
Jacob Michael Nelson, 39, is charged with conducting a human trafficking enterprise, accepting earnings from prostitution, and transporting a person for purposes of prostitution. The Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office alleges Nelson forced his victim to have sex for money with customers he solicited online — and made her take Adderall and methamphetamine so she could service more customers. He’s also accused of beating her if she refused sex work.
