Police are appealing for help after £10,000 in damage was caused to a power pillar in Livingston.
Officers have said they received a report of the damage at roughly 12.20pm on Tuesday, September 16, on Almondvale Avenue.
A large vehicle is believed to have struck a pillar on the street and left the scene without reporting the incident.
It is unclear if the incident occurred at the time of the report, but it is estimated that the damage will cost around £10,000 to repair.
Constable Lyndsay McKinnon said: "I'm appealing to anyone who was driving in the area and witnessed this collision, or has any information about when it may have happened, to contact police.
