A 15-year-old boy, who didn’t know how to swim, died after jumping into a U.K. river with his friends, according to the coroner's office.

Lotus Bowker drowned after jumping into the River Wyre in Lancashire on May 17, Emma Mather, the area coroner for Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen, determined at a coroner’s hearing on Tuesday, Oct. 7.
