CLEVELAND — Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O'Malley held a press conference Wednesday asking for the public's help in tracking down Royal King, the man accused of fatally shooting 17-year-old Jahari Stegall last month.
"We are here first and foremost for the safety of our community," O'Malley said to open the briefing. "The act you're about to see is nothing short of a public execution of a 17-year-old kid who was doing absolutely nothing wrong and was a really good kid."
Investigators say King drove to 185th Deli on East 185th Street in Cleveland's North Collinwood neighborhood on Sept. 19. Surveillance video showed that King walked inside for a few moments, then went over to the front door when he spotted Jahari walking through the parking lot.
