BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) - A statewide tourism alliance is helping North Dakota’s five tribal nations share their cultures and histories with visitors from across the globe.

Founded in 2016, the North Dakota Native Tourism Alliance (NDNTA) is a collaborative organization representing each of the state’s tribal nations. Its mission is to promote Native-led tourism and provide authentic experiences rooted in Indigenous perspectives.

The alliance works in partnership with North Dakota Tourism to coordinate cultural tours for domestic and international visitors. These efforts have positioned NDNTA as a national model for tribal tourism development, with other states looking to replicate its structure and success.
