A woman in her 60s suffered a heart attack and died after riding the Haunted Mansion attraction at Disneyland on Monday evening.

Anaheim Fire & Rescue crews were called to the park around 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 6 for reports of an unresponsive guest whose ride vehicle had returned to the unloading area, Sgt. Matt Sutter told The Los Angeles Daily News.

Disneyland security personnel began CPR before paramedics arrived and transported the woman to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead, Sutter told the publication.

The Orange County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office will determine the official cause of death.

Officials have not released the woman’s name, age, or city of residence. KTLA reached out to Sutter but didn't receive a response in time for publication.
