HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Holyoke police arrested two suspects and seized a trafficking weight of crack cocaine on Tuesday.

Holyoke Police Chief Brian Keenan stated that at approximately 7:40 p.m. on Tuesday, officers were called to Fanum Drive regarding a threat involving a firearm. The suspect vehicle was found at a gas station at the intersection of Whiting Farms Road and Lower Westfield Road, and three occupants were detained.

The driver of the vehicle was later released, and both passengers were arrested. The suspects were identified as 27-year-old Joel Vazquez of Holyoke and 33-year-old Manuel Gantt of Springfield. Officers found a knife when searching Vazquez and located an open bottle of liquor and a crack pipe inside the vehicle.
